Accessibility
We want Energy Clock to work for everyone. Here's where things stand.
In the app
- Text follows your phone's text size (Dynamic Type on iPhone, font size on Android).
- Light and dark appearance, or follow your phone.
- Charts carry a text summary for VoiceOver, and icon-only buttons have spoken labels.
- Sleep debt and your current energy are always written out in words, not only shown as a color or a chart.
- Motion is reduced when your phone asks for reduced motion (Reduce Motion on iPhone, Remove animations on Android).
On this website
- Every text and background pairing is designed to meet WCAG AA contrast (4.5:1 for body text).
- A skip link, a visible focus ring, and keyboard-operable menus, FAQ and gallery.
- Every screenshot has a text description of what's on the screen.
- Pinch-to-zoom stays on, and animation is turned off when your device asks for reduced motion.
What we haven't done yet
Neither the app nor this site has had a formal accessibility audit or a full screen-reader review. The app is in English only for now.
